Job summary

Sonova in Melbourne, FL seeks a Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist to assess patients, discuss options, and support hearing health. The role requires a Florida license and may suit a Doctorate in Audiology or a 3rd/4th year extern.

Qualifications

Must hold a Florida Hearing Aid Dispensing License.
Ideal Doctorate in Audiology or 3rd/4th year Audiology Extern.
Ability to perform hearing tests and discuss options.
Excellent patient communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

Perform patient hearing test assessments and analyze results.
Address patient questions on benefits of hearing aid use.
Discuss pricing and value of hearing health care and services.
Engage in community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
Teach patients how to use new technology to meet hearing goals.
Perform hearing aid repairs, checks and cleanings.
Make adjustments to fitted products per company quality standards.
