Job summary

HearingLife in Ocala, FL is seeking an audiologist or hearing instrument specialist to provide comprehensive hearing care in-office. You will evaluate, diagnose, fit devices, educate patients, and deliver aftercare while supporting telehealth initiatives and community outreach.

The role offers a full-time in-office position with strong compensation and uncapped commission opportunities, plus ongoing professional development and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Active Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license or eligible for licensure.
  • Experience with hearing assessments and fittings.
  • Ability to educate patients on device use and care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose hearing loss per standards.
  • Conduct hearing assessments and fittings.
  • Provide aftercare including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Counsel on device options and payment methods.
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives.

Compensation
  • $60,000-$90,000 +Monthly Uncapped Commission

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards
  • Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care
  • Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance
  • Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices
  • Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching
  • Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance
  • Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results
  • Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner
