Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality follow-up and aftercare services to existing patients.
  • Support walk-in patients with hearing aid checks, cleanings, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine hearing aid maintenance and minor repairs, including earmolds and accessories.
  • Assist patients with proper hearing aid use, care, and best practices.
  • Conduct device checks and basic technical evaluations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists to support patient care plans.
  • Support Telehealth and Remote Care initiatives, including patient coaching and device education.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered clinic environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Support Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. This role is dedicated to patient aftercare and clinical support rather than hearing aid sales. You will play a critical role in ensuring an excellent patient experience by providing follow-up care, device maintenance, troubleshooting, and walk-in support for our patients.

This position is ideal for a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist who enjoys hands‑on clinical work, patient education, and building long‑term patient relationships—without the pressure of sales goals or commissions.

Pay: $55,000-$60,000 + Commission

  • Ensure compliance with all professional licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered clinic environment
  • All other duties as assigned
