SSR Mining Inc. in the United States (Nevada) seeks a Project Engineer to lead studies from Initial Assessment through Feasibility, coordinating mining, processing, infrastructure, and capital projects in line with SSR’s Investment standards. You will develop study scopes, manage consultants, assemble schedules and budgets, prepare technical reports and business cases, and collaborate with Exploration, Operations, Finance, Environment, and Permitting teams to support investment decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of engineering and project development experience in mining or heavy industrial projects.
Experience supporting studies through Initial Assessment, Concept, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility stages.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and stage-gate processes.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional studies from IA to Feasibility.
Develop study scopes and manage consultant engagements within budget and schedule.
Coordinate internal resources and present study results to stakeholders.
Support development of CAPEX/OPEX estimates and execution strategies.
Collaborate with Environmental, Permitting, and Community Relations teams.
