You will manage menus, inventory, and budgeting while coordinating food service activities and nutrition education sessions to promote healthy eating and student well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; experience in food service management preferred.
• Knowledgeable about nutrition principles and healthy meal planning.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs of students and program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors to plan well-balanced, age-appropriate meals for after-school and full-day programs.
• Ensure menus meet dietary restrictions and allergen guidelines for student health.
• Source, procure, and maintain quality food supplies while balancing cost and nutrition.
• Manage inventory systems, track expiration dates, and turnover.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe food service environment in compliance with health standards.
• Assist in managing the food service budget by tracking expenses and optimizing costs.
• Lead educational sessions on nutrition, healthy eating, and wellness for students.
• Maintain accurate records of meal services, inventory, and program activities.
• Gather feedback from students and staff to improve meal offerings and dining experiences.
