Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Creo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design and process improvement for ultrasound transducer R&D, including tooling, fixtures, prototypes, test setups, and documentation updates.
• Assist with design-build-test activities: create prototypes, run experiments, collect data, analyze results, and summarize recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, process, manufacturing, quality, materials, acoustic, electrical, and systems engineering to support product development and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to process robustness, manufacturability and quality improvement through root cause analysis, process characterization, and work instruction support.
• Gain hands-on experience in medical device engineering, regulated product development, and technical documentation while working with mentors.
