Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Warehouse Technician to process orders, prepare items for shipment, and handle inventory. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and stocking equipment, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment. Candidates should be able to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials from trucks and pallets; verify quantity and quality.
• Transport materials to storage areas using forklifts or hand trucks.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts; report discrepancies.
• Monitor expiration dates and assist in stocking/inventory replenishment.
• Prepare shipping containers and labels; locate and assemble outgoing items.
• Pick, pack, and label orders according to lists; prepare for shipment.
• Follow safety protocols and conduct routine equipment inspections.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and document inventory movements.
• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and filing when needed.
