Job summary

LifeSci Search is seeking an Associate to join its investment team in a three-year program focused on healthcare investing, portfolio management, board engagement, and company building.

You will work across 50+ portfolio companies in biotech, diagnostics, tools, and healthcare software, supporting clinical, operational, and financing milestones with input from senior investors and management teams.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD with strong academic credentials and scientific rigor.
• Ability to synthesize complex clinical and scientific information for investment decisions.
• Interest in healthcare innovation, biotechnology, venture capital, and entrepreneurship.
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with management teams, clinicians, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of 50+ healthcare and life sciences companies across biotech, diagnostics, tools, and software.
• Collaborate with founders, management, and board members to hit clinical, operational, and financing milestones.
• Conduct market research, competitive analyses, and strategic assessments for portfolio optimization.
• Assist with fundraising, investor communications, and diligence efforts on new opportunities.
