VC Stack is seeking an Associate to join their Investment Team in San Francisco. This role involves assisting with new company building, sourcing investments, and supporting portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have an MD or PhD and 2-4 years of relevant experience in deal-making, showcasing strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including salary between $150,000 to $210,000, along with robust benefits like health insurance and a flexible PTO plan.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of direct exposure to deal-making, preferably in biotech or investment banking.
• Resourceful and proactive with a hands-on approach to work.
• Fluent in financial modeling and business presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify new investment opportunities through networking.
• Perform due diligence and evaluate investment ideas.
• Participate in term sheet formulation and financing closings.
• Discuss and present investment opportunities in team meetings.
• Support portfolio companies with strategic direction.
