• The HUC I is accountable for daily (shift) clerical operations and coordination on a nursing unit.
• Works closely with the charge nurse/nurse manager to support unit operations and patient needs.
• Maintains unit supplies and equipment and ensures compliance with select environmental and regulator standards.
• Acts as the hub for coordinating unit activity and communication.
• Demonstrates proficiency in medical terminology, communication, organization, technical and clerical tasks.
