Job summary

Telecare Corporation seeks a Unit Clerk in Patterson, CA to provide essential clerical and administrative support to nursing, clinical, and medical staff within a healthcare setting. This is a full-time, limited duration position with daytime shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

The starting wage is $23.00 per hour. The role requires basic medical terminology knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Qualifications

• GED or better.
• High School or better.
• Six (6) months experience as a unit clerk or administrative support staff in a health care environment.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and technical support to the nursing, clinical, and medical staff.
