You will support the Healthcare Underwriting team by processing submissions, reviewing applications, and assisting with new/renewal conditions to ensure accurate risk assessment. Qualifications

• Must be a current college student pursuing a relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Understanding of insurance terminology and analytical problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Process submissions, perform data entry and prepare accounts for rating and quoting.
• Assist Underwriter with new/renewal conditions and subjectivities; review applications and loss runs.
• Handle bind requests and communicate with agents; resolve discrepancies before updating status.
• Generate policy outputs compliant with company standards and handle routine service requests.
• Monitor workflow when underwriters are traveling and contribute to department projects.
