Job summary

You will own an assigned renewal, shadow underwriting functions, collaborate with actuarial and marketing teams, complete a project aligned with business priorities, and strengthen Excel and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive instruction on fundamental underwriting concepts and methodologies.
• Participate in the large group renewal process, including ownership of an assigned renewal opportunity from initiation through completion.
• Shadow team members across various Underwriting functions to gain a broad understanding of departmental operations.
• Gain exposure to the Actuarial and Marketing departments, with a focus on their collaboration and interaction with Underwriting.
• Participate in a shadowing experience with an AmeriHealth affiliate company.
• Complete a special project aligned with emerging business needs and organizational priorities.
• Analyze data and support underwriting activities using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
