Underwriting Responsibilities - Allied Healthcare & Facilities/Hospitals. Underwrite and evaluate risks across Allied Healthcare and healthcare facilities, including hospitals and care centers, ensuring alignment with company guidelines. Review submissions to determine appropriate coverage, pricing, limits, and terms.

As they expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated Executive Underwriter to join their Underwriting department.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze underwriting risks in compliance with the company's policies and market trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and agents to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Navigate and manage portfolios for Mid-Market and Small/Transactional business segments.
• Collaborate with various teams to tailor insurance solutions that meet specific client needs.
• Ensure the profitability and growth of the portfolio by implementing effective underwriting strategies.

Key Skills

• Profound understanding of underwriting processes and principles.
• Strong expertise in dealing with Wholesale Brokers.
• Experienced with Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines in the US Domestic Insurance market.
• In-depth knowledge of Mid-Market business with premiums ranging from fifty thousand to five hundred thousand dollars.
• Experience in managing Small/Transactional business with premiums less than fifty thousand dollars.
