Confidential in Secaucus, NJ, seeks aTransactional Attorney with 4-6 years of healthcare-focused transactional experience to join the legal team. The role covers physician employment and service agreements, vendor contracts, real estate matters, and strategic healthcare transactions.

Candidates must have a JD, active bar status, and demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and close complex agreements while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in the state where the position is based, or eligibility for in-house counsel registration.
• 4-6 years of transactional legal experience.
• Healthcare legal experience advising hospitals, health systems, or physician practices.
• Experience drafting and negotiating physician contracts and commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of healthcare fraud and abuse rules and related compliance considerations.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate physician employment, professional services, medical director, on-call coverage, and other physician agreements.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, consulting, and real estate agreements.
• Support healthcare transactions, acquisitions, affiliations, and practice expansions.
• Conduct due diligence, identify transaction risks, and advise on closing requirements and post-closing obligations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage timelines, approvals, and execution.
• Provide practical legal guidance to leadership and clinical/operational teams.
