A leading healthcare company is seeking a Clinical Engineer to oversee the coordination of medical equipment technology. The candidate will ensure compliance with standards for connectivity and cybersecurity, while leading onboarding projects in collaboration with IT and operations. This remote position entails a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on biomedical engineering and project management, and offers a competitive salary.

PRIMARY PURPOSE
Responsible for completing and coordinating tasks necessary to ensure that medical equipment technology within the Clinical Engineering scope of support is operating in accordance with the enterprise standards for connectivity, interoperability, and cybersecurity. Also responsible for coordinating and completing tasks for major equipment onboarding projects, in collaboration with the enterprise project management office (EPMO) and operations teams.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Exposed to a normal office environment most of the time
Requires approximately 75% local, regional, or enterprise travel, so the incumbent will be exposed to road and weather conditions
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job

5 years minimum experience in Clinical Engineering related field, with an additional 1-2 years of experience in project management support, data analysis, or information technology collaboration
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Subject matter expert in 5-6 areas of clinical equipment technology
Excellent human relations and analytical skills. Self-motivated with the ability to independently schedule, organize and manage self with minimal supervision
Ability to effectively manage time and resources in a dynamic, complex, and highly visible environment with multiple dependencies, competing interests, and challenging timelines
Excellent task coordination skills and ability to multitask effectively
Ability to effectively communicate and partner with internal and vendor partners
Ability to solve problems by utilizing an array of information from vendors, subordinates, caregivers, and internal partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Expertise in preparing and manipulating information in spreadsheets and databases
Ability to use basic computer software packages (word processing, spreadsheets, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Ability to perform test and perform basic repairs on a wide array of medical devices
