Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to join our growing team. The role manages the delivery of small to moderately complex healthcare/technology projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget under senior guidance.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, track milestones, and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders, while collaborating with clients and functional leaders to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of project management experience.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred or actively working toward certification.
• Experience with healthcare delivery systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end delivery of small to moderately complex projects, ensuring alignment with defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinates cross-functional project teams, facilitating collaboration among internal staff, matrix managers, and client representatives.
• Tracks milestones, deliverables, and metrics using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and related reporting systems.
• Identifies project risks and issues; develops mitigation recommendations and escalates as appropriate.
• Prepares project status updates, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders under the guidance of senior leadership.
• Assists in developing and monitoring project budgets, collaborating with finance to track actuals against plan.
