Job summary
Medtronic invites engineering students to join their summer internship program in the United States. Interns work full-time (40 hours/week) for 10–11 weeks across multiple engineering tracks, including R&D, operations, and quality engineering. Housing assistance and relocation support are available for eligible interns.
Locations include Minnesota and other U.S. hubs, with onsite work expected at primary hubs.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, industrial, materials science or computer engineering with an expected graduation date Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028 or Spring 2029.
Responsibilities
- Support design, development, analysis and testing of engineering solutions during research and product development phases.
- Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis and data-driven evaluation.
- Support safety testing, regulatory compliance and transfer of products from development into manufacturing.
- Assist with manufacturing processes, quality and process improvements.
