Trinity Health is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician under RN supervision to perform basic patient care activities, including assisting with daily living tasks, taking blood glucose, and recording intake/output. The role involves performing EKGs and phlebotomy duties as trained, with competency assessments.

The position emphasizes adherence to mission/values, compliance with health information privacy, and active participation in ongoing education and in-services within a collaborative team

Competenze

• Basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy course upon hire or transfer.
• Experience in health-related field preferred.

Mansioni

• Take blood glucose measurements and record intake/output.
• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Perform ordered EKGs according to policy and training.
• Perform Phlebotomy duties per policy and training.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
• Attend in-services, workshops and staff meetings.
• Support performance improvement initiatives within and across departments.
