An established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join their team. This role involves assisting nurses in providing essential patient care, performing clerical tasks, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. To facilitate the activities of a nursing unit through the effective performance of receptionist, clerical processes and/or to assist Registered Professional Nurses in performing assigned patient care and unit maintenance activities. The position manages information and connects physicians, staff, and visitors with appropriate resources.
Performs Patient Care Activities as delegated by the Nurse utilizing applicable policies and procedures to ensure patient needs and expectations are met.
Performs activities efficiently and accurately to facilitate quality patient care and ensure a safe environment.
Accurate completion of records and charting. Completion of needed clerical duties specific to the area assigned.
Demonstrates the philosophy of Family Centered Care and good customer relations.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA), Education: , Work Experience: Nursing assistant; Medical Terminology; Basic computer skills.

The compensation range for this position is $17.89 per hour - $28.98 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
