Job summary

Valor Compounding Pharmacy is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Berkeley, CA. The role covers full-cycle recruiting for pharmacists, technicians, operations, and corporate roles, collaborating with hiring managers to craft effective recruiting strategies.

You will source candidates, screen, schedule interviews, extend offers, and oversee pre-employment checks. Hybrid or on-site work options are available, with a focus on compliance and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare/pharmacy or high-volume environments.
• Experience managing 15–25 open requisitions at a time.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ATS and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Knowledge of California employment laws and hiring compliance.
• Experience recruiting licensed healthcare professionals is a plus.
• Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment verification.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for pharmacists, technicians, operations, and corporate roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop recruiting strategies.
• Write and post job descriptions on boards, social media, and careers page.
• Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networks.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and assess fit.
• Coordinate interviews and prepare interview guides.
• Extend offers and manage candidate communications through acceptance.
• Oversee pre-employment processes including background checks and licenses.
