Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System's St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks a Senior Supply Chain Technician-Clinical to assist with organization, oversight and coordination of supply needs for procedural areas such as surgery or cath lab.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in Healthcare, Supply Chain, Business or related field is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in healthcare, inventory management, sourcing, supply replenishment or related field is required.
• Experience working in procedural environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in organization, oversight and coordination of all supply related needs and supply chain administration for procedural areas such as surgery or cath lab.
• Partners with physicians, department leadership, sales representatives and supply chain teams to respond to inventory needs and special requests.
• Evaluates supply use and opportunities for cost saving initiatives.
