Job summary

Ellis Medicine is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to manage stock levels, deliver supplies, and input inventory data using handheld devices. The role supports point-of-use areas, ensures barcodes and labels are accurate, and works with the supervisor to maintain continuous supply flow.

Responsibilities include daily min/max checks, weekly inventories, stock rotation, and assisting with training while upholding patient privacy policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Basic computer and device operation for inventories.

Responsibilities

• Delivers supplies, including limited legend medications and linen, accurately and promptly.
• Reviews min/max levels daily and places orders accordingly using handheld device.
• Inventories point-of-use stock weekly and enters orders into the appropriate system.
• Ensures barcodes, bin labels, and par levels are correct and communicates changes to the Supervisor.
• Rotates stock to prevent expiration and keeps supply areas neat and orderly.
• Communicates critical messages and stock outs to Supervisor; supports backup when needed.
• Contributes to training of new employees and adheres to privacy policies.
