Job summary

AdventHealth Port Charlotte in Florida is seeking a reliable materials handler to manage daily par cart inventories, pick and deliver supplies, and maintain organized storage areas. You will work closely with clinicians and supply chain leadership to ensure timely replenishment and accurate records.

The role requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate material handling equipment. A high school diploma and 6 months in supply chain or customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math and attention to detail required.
• Clear English communication; multilingual a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment and par level concepts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily par cart inventories, picks orders, confirms orders, and delivers supplies to assigned par areas.
• Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and stocked to meet customer needs.
• Picks up return items following guidelines.
• Provides feedback on par level adjustments to supply chain and clinical leadership.
• Establishes relationships with clinicians to ensure collaboration between clinical departments and supply chain.
• Creates requisitions for non-stock supplies as needed.
• Disburses all materials to various locations in the facility, including refrigerated supplies and overnight packages.
• Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Completes replenishment/picking process in the software for accurate record keeping.
• Delivers supplies and packages, obtaining delivery information.
• Maintains item locations and labels for product conversions.
• Participates in par location item layout design/maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
