Job summary

8085 ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Technician on a per diem basis. You will ensure supplies and equipment are available for patient care teams, optimize processes, and help drive cost efficiency and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include maintaining par levels, stocking, expediting requests, and documenting movements. Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong communication, independence, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Windows-based computer programs and learning specialized software.
• Experience in materials management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orders, delivers and stocks supplies for assigned departments.
• Report adjustments to inventory and par levels to supervision.
• Check expiration dates and rotate stock; remove excess inventory.
• Annotate and document material movements and shipments per procedures.
• Enter patient charges and orders using vendor systems as applicable.
• Maintain documentation for tracked items (e.g., tissue).
• Support cost-effective outbound shipments and track returns (RGA).
• Collaborate with team and leadership to optimize supply availability.
