The role emphasizes inventory integrity, timely order fulfillment, and collaboration with OR, FSED, and logistics teams to uphold patient care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Receiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; must learn all department computer systems within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management & PAR maintenance: unload, verify, monitor expirations, maintain crash carts.
• Order fulfillment & picking: accurately pick, stage, label orders; support deliveries.
• Receiving & delivery: receive shipments, document deliveries, resolve issues.
• Specialized support: OR liaison; FSED support; manage par levels and cabinets.
• Compliance & reporting: SOPs for tissue handling, cold storage, logs and reports.
• Collaboration & cross-functional support: assist teams across locations; maintain clean storerooms.
• Universal expectations: maintain cleanliness, FIFO, on-time deliveries, and department standards.
