Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead clinical supply chain activities, supervise staff, and coordinate delivery of medical supplies to the Surgical and Procedural Suites. You will support the Clinical Supply Chain Management Director and help achieve inventory turn goals.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree with 7–9 years healthcare experience, strong inventory control, staff management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 7–9 years healthcare experience.
• Strong inventory control experience; 5+ years in supply distribution & staff management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain in the Main OR.
• Ensure Supply Chain policies are current and accurate.
• Assist in budgeting and control of department expenditures.
• Prepare and submit routine and specialized reports.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to avoid credit holds.
• Supervise HR aspects: hiring, onboarding and staff training.
• Provide ongoing orientation and required training to staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance across the department.
• Communicate with colleagues across the Medical Centers and participate in committees.
• Manage resources and day-to-day operations; resolve issues; monitor performance.
