Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Intern in the Healthcare Industry Group to work closely with healthcare clients on complex assignments. You will assist with financial modeling, data collection, and analysis, while engaging with senior leaders and clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in building financial models, conducting forecasting, and developing reports, while gaining exposure to multiple facets of healthcare consulting and interim management projects.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with building and maintaining financial models
• Attending client interviews to capture actionable items
• Performing financial analysis including forecasting cash flows, analyzing and managing liquidity, reviewing and analyzing financial statements
• Collecting, reviewing, and benchmarking internal and external data and managing databases
• Performing analysis and developing reports and deliverables
• Evaluating business operations and supporting performance improvement initiatives
• Conducting healthcare research
• Assisting with the development of pitch and proposal content
