Job summary

Sante Health System is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant / Accountant I in Fresno, CA to support financial operations of assigned clients through accurate accounting, financial analysis, and proactive client service.

Responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, preparing analyses, and ensuring client needs are addressed with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in finance or accounting including healthcare preferred.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office with Access and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares capitation reports, analysis and reconciliation.
• Prepares monthly bank reconciliation reports.
• Assists in general ledgers, journal entries and workpapers.
• Maintains liaison between Finance and other departments.
• Maintains and understands Sage 100 accounting system and all related subledgers.
