Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Spend Executive to lead non-labor spend management for assigned accounts in the southeast U.S. You will coordinate with client leaders to translate priorities into a category workplan and drive measurable value through Vizient insights and governance processes.

You will serve as primary day-to-day contact for spend category execution, partnering with contracting resources to optimize performance and utilization, and presenting ROI narratives to executives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare supply chain and spend management.
• Experience within provider organizations or leading complex provider-based supply chain engagements.
• Governance experience (value analysis, capital approval, executive supply chain forums) preferred.
• Ability to translate supply chain data into actionable, executive-level narratives.
• Strong account planning, stakeholder management, and delivery governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the client spend management account plan, roadmap, and success metrics.
• Lead development of account plans and workplans with cross-functional Vizient resources.
• Develop category workplans and drive adoption of standardization changes.
• Define and track savings, utilization, and value delivery with regular business reviews.
• Deliver influential value propositions and ROI narratives to executive stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships and quarterly business/project reviews.
• Coordinate renewal and expansion opportunities with enterprise teams.
