Highmark Health’s Summer 2027 Software Engineer enGen Graduate Internship offers hands-on experience developing and modernizing enterprise healthcare technology. You’ll work with the DCSS application development team on APIs, cloud solutions, and modernization initiatives that support critical operations.

Interns collaborate with software engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment, gaining exposure to modern software engineering, cloud tech, DevOps

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related discipline.
Pursuing a graduate degree in a relevant program (full or part-time).
Interest in software development, APIs, cloud technologies, and modernization.

Responsibilities

Develop and test application components and APIs.
Support system integrations and modernisation efforts.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Contribute to documentation and solution design throughout the lifecycle.
