Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a Simulation Lab Technologist to provide operational support for experiential learning in the SIM lab. You will assist the SIM Manager, prepare and transition equipment and manikins for scenarios, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance of gear, supplies, and data collection tasks.

You will also handle inventory management, participate in troubleshooting equipment, and support scheduling and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical set up and takedown of simulation manikins and lab environments per scenario protocol.
• Supports staff during simulation events, including props placement and moulage setup to create realistic settings.
• Maintains AV media, computers, simulators, task trainers, and other department technologies.
• Keeps records of supplies and equipment inventory and maintains department assets.
• Acquires and restocks supplies for the simulation suite as needed.
• Develops scheduling plans for repair and maintenance in consultation with the SIM Manager.
• Flexible schedule may include nights and weekends.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
