Job summary

Baylor Scott & White BUMC Healthcare is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Dallas to transport passengers safely on campus and between facilities. The role is available as full-time or part-time with a pay rate of $19.00/hour.

Shifts run from 4:45am-2pm and 2pm-12am; a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card are required for employment. You will greet riders, assist with loading and unloading, perform safety checks, and maintain reliable service while adhering to DOT rules and company standards.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and/or possess a current Medical Certificate.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rider safety and reliability of service.
• Greet customers and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Assist passengers with information regarding the healthcare campus.
• Work with or without supervision and follow supervisor direction.
• Maintain professional communication with passengers and co-workers.
• Perform pre and post inspection of shuttle and maintain safety standards.
• Load/unload passengers, including those with special needs.
• Submit accident/incident reports in a timely manner.
• Keep shuttle clean and organized; wear assigned uniform.
• Follow DOT and safety procedures at all times.
