Responsibilities

• Lock/unlock doors and control access to the facility.
• Respond to emergency codes and assist in the ED.
• Patrol the facility by foot or vehicle and report hazards.
• Protect staff and visitors, responding to safety calls.
• Maintain incident reports with clear, thorough documentation.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient/visitor identification policies.
• Participate in disaster drills and ensure proper dispatch to locations.
