College Medical Center Long Beach is seeking a full-time Security Officer to guard the hospital during swing or day shifts. The role focuses on maintaining safety for patients, visitors, and staff, with training provided on CPI and BLS requirements.

You will be part of a dedicated security team, ensuring compliant operations, responding to incidents promptly, and upholding professional communication and conduct within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an on-site Security Officer preferred.
• Knowledge of general security functions and legal limitations.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic skills in physical restraint and self defense.
• Current CA Guard card.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers card or within 30 days of hire.
• Must complete CPI within 30 days of hire. College Medical Center will provide training.
