Ochsner Health is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patients, guests and employees. The role enforces safety rules, conducts inspections and supports emergency response with a courteous, professional approach.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of security or related experience, and certifications such as BLS and CPI. Fluency in English and mobility on large campuses are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military.
• Must have computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• This position is Team A Essential Personnel and must report for duty during a disaster.

Responsabilités

• Enforces all company safety and security rules, regulations, and policies on company property.
• Conducts routine inspections of on-site and off-site locations.
• Investigates accidents and other incidents and reports occurrences.
• Performs opening/lockdown of all buildings as approved by Administration.
• Participates in emergency response and drills.
• Keeps required annual certifications and completes training on time.
• Adapts behavior to the patient population and maintains patient privacy.
• Other related duties as required.
