Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol in Jacksonville, FL. You will patrol healthcare locations, monitor access, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include incident response, routine patrols, and precise documentation to support site operations.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Guard card or license preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
State/county/city-issued security license preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check required by law.
Drug screening required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following healthcare protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, and common areas.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as per visitor management and access-control procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
