Responsibilities

• Patrols hospital property and screens visitors to protect safety and property.
• Conducts tours of buildings and grounds to ensure doors, windows and gates are secure.
• Investigates disturbances and assists with emergencies to maintain order and safety.
• Follows local, state and federal security regulations and restrictions.
• Calls fire department during fires or emergencies and notifies police for theft or incidents.
• Coordinates parking facilities and regulates parking for patients and families.
• Admits and releases authorized persons, preventing removal of company articles without approval.
