Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and a welcoming environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and security-related activities.
