Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience as security officer in a healthcare setting, Law enforcement or military service.
• One (1) year experience as a Security Officer.
• Security Guard: CA Guard Card.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 90 Days.
• Driver's License: CA, within 30 Days.

Responsibilities

• Protect staff, patients, and visitors by responding to calls for assistance in a timely and prudent manner.
• Monitor security alarms, dispatch officers, and report unsafe acts or conditions.
• Deter, detect, and investigate suspicious activity or crime while patrolling assigned areas.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and document incident reports clearly and timely.
• Operate radios and hospital codes to coordinate security responses effectively.
• Support the organization's mission, vision and values in every decision and action.
