Job summary

Tarian seeks a Healthcare Security Officer to protect patients, staff, and visitors in a hospital setting. You will uphold safety standards, deter unauthorized activity, and respond to emergencies as part of a dedicated security team.

The role requires standing/walking for long periods, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a valid driver’s license where applicable. This full-time position offers a flex shift and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, staff, and patients and visitors.
• Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
