Job summary

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors. You will patrol the hospital campus, respond to calls for assistance, log events, and report incidents using established codes.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid AZ driver's license, and BLS certification within 60 days. Prior hospital security experience is preferred to support a compassionate, safe care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of security officer experience with high public contact.
• Arizona Driver's License required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for assistance, handle incidents with timeliness and prudence.
• Patrol facility and grounds, monitor alarms, dispatch officers as needed.
• Know emergency procedures, investigate breaches and write reports.
• Log daily activities clearly and use proper codes for dispatch.
