Job summary

Allied Universal in Newport, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol to protect patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. You will monitor assigned areas, deter security incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service.

This Swing Shift role offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and opportunities for training and career growth within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• State/county/city security license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directions throughout the facility.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate with site leadership.
