Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months of related experience or training; 1 year preferred.
• Formal security training and licensure preferred, including Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer license.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor hospital premises regularly to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
• Control access points and monitor entrance/exit of staff, patients, visitors, and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and assist with evacuations and basic first aid as needed.
• Prepare incident and safety reports and document facility issues identified during patrols.
• Provide escorts and assist patients and staff as required.
