Job summary

We are seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. at a prominent healthcare facility in Athens, OH. The role focuses on maintaining safety for patients, visitors and staff through visible security presence and prompt responses to incidents.

The position requires 2+ years security experience, an Ohio Guard Card, a valid driver's license and the ability to pass drug, background, and medical screenings. Shift is Monday-Friday, midnight to 8:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain Ohio Guard Card.
• Clean drug screen, background check and physical exam clearance.
• Minimum 2+ years of security experience.
• Associate Degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the healthcare facility and grounds.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and respond to unusual activity.
• Enforce the facility's safety and security policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas and ensure only authorized personnel enter.
• Provide a professional presence and assist staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Maintain accurate incident and activity records.
• Assist with emergency evacuations when necessary.
