Allina Health in Faribault, MN is seeking a Security Services team member to help create a safe, welcoming environment where healing begins. You will protect patients, staff and visitors while supporting whole-person care.

The role involves responding to security emergencies, patrolling facilities, coordinating with law enforcement, and educating internal customers on safety. This is a 0.9 FTE evening/night position with three 12-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift weekly.

Qualifications

• Must meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• Completion or current enrollment of Associates or Vocational degree or other post secondary education.
• In lieu of degree requirement, 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military or related field.

Responsibilities

• Responds to security emergencies and alarms, taking action per procedures.
• Patrols and secures properties, provides escorts and education to internal customers.
• Enforces policies and partners with law enforcement and community partners.
• Assists with risk identification and safety education for staff and patients.
