Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Security Officer II to help maintain a safe and secure environment across our hospital campus. The role covers patrols, incident response, and coordination with leadership to support operations in a 24/7 healthcare setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. CHSO certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's License (no violations 2 years)
• CHSO certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital property to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, radio communications, and access control systems.
• Enforce hospital policies, address safety concerns, and coordinate with law enforcement when appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and team members while maintaining professionalism and customer service.
