Job summary

Olympia Convalescent Hospital – Koreatown in Los Angeles is seeking a vigilant Security Guard for full-time night and evening coverage. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and support staff to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and CPR/AED or BLS certification preferred; California driver’s license is necessary. We offer a rotating 4-on/2-off schedule with PM and NOC shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• At least 1 year of healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Experience monitoring surveillance systems and writing incident reports.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, fire protection, emergency preparedness, and security standards (DOH and JCAHO preferred).
• CPR/AED training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and routine incidents.
• Monitor and report activities that could lead to injury or property loss.
• Communicate clearly with patients, visitors, and medical staff.
• Write clear, accurate, and detailed incident reports.
