• Understanding of the Health industry and Health Science pathways programs at SLCC/SLTC.
• Ability to assess student needs and match them with appropriate educational resources and support services at SLCC and in the community.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to address faculty, staff, partner, and student issues in a positive manner at the department or division level and in collaboration with other college departments, divisions, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for students in the Healthcare Science AS program or Health Science pathway.
• Coordinate with faculty and administration to manage the Healthcare Science AS program.
• Regularly communicate with students to provide direction and access to support services.
• Monitor student progress and provide guidance to stay on track.
• Connect students with academic and career advising, tutoring, and other resources.
• Provide updates to leadership and partners on engagement and program outcomes.
• Mentor student workers or peer navigators supporting the pathway.
