Hayes Locums is offering a Sales Internship Program in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This eight-week, in-office internship pays $18.00 per hour and runs June 7–July 29, 2027, with a 20-hour work week and a one-hour unpaid lunch each day.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in consultative sales, CRM usage, and relationship management while supporting sales consultants and leaders on real projects within a leading physician staffing firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree with anticipated graduation in 2027-2028.
• Strong interest in sales, recruiting, business development, or related career paths.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Consultants with administrative processes related to physician placement activities.
• Participate in outbound prospecting efforts, including phone calls, messaging, and candidate outreach.
• Maintain and update CRM and internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with sales, recruiting, operations, and support teams to better understand the sales cycle.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales development activities.
• Support projects that enhance sales operations and business performance.
• Shadow high-performing consultants and leaders to gain insight into successful sales strategies.
• Complete a Capstone Project focused on a real business initiative and present recommendations to Sales Leadership at the conclusion of the program.
